Use it as much as you like, for personal work, for paid work, for a client, for a press deadline. There is no licence to buy, no attribution required, and no limit on how many files go through it. Nothing you produce here is claimed by anyone connected with this site, because nothing you produce here is ever seen by anyone connected with this site.

Do not run it against material you have no right to process. Do not attempt to present a deconvolved result as evidence of what a scene contained — the guide on that subject explains at length why a solver can produce plausible detail that was never recorded, and using such output to assert a fact about the world is a misuse of it. Do not republish the page itself as your own service.

The instrument is offered as it stands. There is no warranty that any particular photograph can be improved by it, and for a large class of photographs — anything genuinely out of focus, anything where only a moving subject is smeared — the honest expectation is that it cannot. Browsers differ, memory limits differ, and a very large file may be refused on one device and open on another.

Keep the original. The export is a new file and the source is never altered, but no software should be the only copy of a photograph you care about.

To the fullest extent the law where you are allows, no liability is accepted for loss of data, loss of work, loss of a commission, or any other loss arising from using this page. The operation runs on your own hardware, under your own control, and the result is yours to inspect before you use it. If that footing is not acceptable for what you are doing, use software that comes with a support contract.

These terms may change as the instrument does. The version in force is the one published here at the time you use it; there is no account, so there is no mechanism for notifying anyone individually, and re-reading this page is the only way to see a change.
